Welcome

Thanks for visiting. I have employed my 25+ years of picture framing expertise to create these beautiful and long lasting pieces that you’ll be proud to display in your home. I use all archival materials and conservation methods to insure longevity. Please note, variations in mat embellishments, frame finishes and wood figuring are natural and characteristic of these hand made items.

The items currently on view are chromolithographed pages from the French encyclopedia Nouveau Larousse Universel, ca. 1947. They were created by Adolphe Philippe Millot, a prominent painter, lithographer and entomologist. When I happened upon this encyclopedia, I was immediately inspired to bring its beautiful pages to life by complimenting them with hand embellished mats and elegant frames. Now they are available for others to enjoy.

Each page is archivally hinged under a hand ruled french mat on mounted laid paper to match the vintage feel of the print. Each is fit into a hand made solid walnut frame. The glazing is Optium, a museum grade acrylic which has very low reflection and is UV filtering. The frames are wired and ready to hang.

Please use the photos as your guide and feel free to ask questions.
